Hello all! My Name is Pete Hoppal. I have created this blog as a way to express myself and maybe at the same time help out a person or two. It will not focus on one theme, because my mind wonders a lot and I’m not sure that I would be able to stay on one subject.
So, with that said, I will tell you a little bit about me. I am a gay man that has been living with my boyfriend Michael for a year now. We have been through some great times and also had out challenges.
I was recently let go from my job at KOAT, the ABC TV station in Albuquerque, NM. There is a lot to say about that, but I will not go into it right now. Before working at KOAT, I worked as a news producer at several other stations around the country, including KDVR in Denver, WHBQ in Memphis, KOAA & KRDO in Colorado springs. There are more, but why list everything. I also worked as a promotions manager at Bass Pro Shop for a year in Memphis and at O’Connor Kenny Partners, an advertising firm for about two years.
This is my second attempt at a blog. The first one never really got going, but I never really made any effort to actually make it happen. So, here’s to making this one better than the first.
