The Weekend Has Arrived

December 19, 2008

I am pissy today and I probably do not have good reason to be. My new job is not really helping to much either, it is boring as anything and the training makes me feel like I am in 3rd grade.

The other issues I guess I will not get to much into. There are a couple, but they are things I know I need to work out myself. I’m not sure how I am going to do it, but I do not want to upset anyone while I try to fix things in my head that are probably not worth being worried about or pissy about. So I will leave it at that and start talking about other things.

This weekend, as the weekend before Christmas usually is, is expected to be big for the box office. Two (maybe three) movies will be fighting for number one. There is Jim Carrey’s “Yes Man”, Will Smith’s “Seven Pounds” and “The Tale of Despereaux”  about a mouse they say was born to big for his world.

I doubt the mouse movie will be in the top two, but it is hard to say what people will want to watch this weekend, a romantic comedy (Seven Pounds) or just a comedy (Yes Man) or maybe they do want to see a mouse.

There is also a new Clint Eastwood movie “Gran Torino” that is getting a lot of Oscar buzz, but it does not seem like a movie that will be a box office hit, especially over the holidays.

Well, I am off to try and get the pissyness out.
