The Waiting Game

…and no I am not talking about the movie or the many songs that have carried the “Waiting Game” title.

Tick, tick, tick… It seem that this is the worst part about trying to get a job. The waiting game. I have been on 3 interviews in the last 5 days. Two of the jobs I really would like to have. But now I just have to sit here and wait.  I hate not knowing.

Another Interview, One Step Closer To A Job

Well, the Reelz Channel interview was not all that I expected. I did get to meet the Senior VP of production, which is a good thing. I talked to him for awhile. I really like what he had to say and was excited about the opportunity of getting pretty much on the ground floor of the network.

Job Search Could Soon End! YAY!

Well, It has been weeks and it is finally coming down to the next 3 days. I have two interviews and one place that is supposed to call me today to tell me if I have a job or now.

Talking this weekend about jobs I would like to try or do, I have decided one of the jobs I am interviewing for today is in the relm of my dream job. That job is working for Reelz Channel. Basically being an entertainment news producer. Something I have always wanted to do and though I would be good at. So here is hoping my interview there tonight goes good.

More Ads For Online TV Watching

The way we watch network programs on our computer is slowly getting more and more like watching them on TV.

ABC has double the ad load on their online shows from 4 to 8. But the network is learning that it does not decrease viewer interest. The network also learned that they do not have to limit advertising to one brand on their online shows. During the research they found that they can run up to four four different brands without impacting brand favorability.

Profanity Could Cost You

Yes, it is true, if one Senator gets his way. The thing that is unclear right now… what words are actually considered profanity.

State Senator Robert Ford of South Carolina is hoping to outlaw lewd language. In a pre-filed bill, saying or writting profanity towards another person could land you in jail for up to 5 years and/or cost you up to $5,000.
